First responders are essentially left on their own even when everyone has been evacuated; they stay behind to insure that help can be rendered once the initial event has past. These people working in the recovery process cannot respond properly because their method of communications are gone, supplies are gone, equipment gone or damaged. First responders quickly become victims instead of responders.
Storm Haven is the surest method to keep first responders safe in all weather scenarios. The carbon foam composite material allows our Storm Haven to be very strong and puncture resistant to flying and floating debris that could come in contact with the Command and Control Centers exterior walls. Fully self contained in the event that surge waters or floodwaters were to cover the Storm Haven. The Chamber is waterproof, fireproof for over a 24-hour period of time, allows conditions on the exterior to subside and return to more normal conditions. The Storm Haven has been designed and developed to provide sleeping quarters, kitchenette, restrooms and shower capabilities as well as provide a safe environment for emergency personnel to keep up to date with the latest information.
